The Role: Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate to join a prominent national law firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions in the renewable energy sector while collaborating with a team of talented professionals in the Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit.

In this position, you will:
- Lead and manage real estate transactions involving wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on high-stakes renewable energy matters.
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys, providing guidance and ensuring quality work.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to facilitate complex energy-related transactions.
- Contribute to innovative legal strategies within the renewable energy sector.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Expertise
- Years of Practice: Minimum of 7 years of experience in renewable energy real estate transactions.
- Transaction Expertise: Experience in wind, solar, and battery storage transactions is required.
Educational Credentials
- Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Bar Membership: Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location or a commitment to obtaining one promptly.

- Competitive Compensation: A salary range of $225,000 to $275,000 in Denver, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Washington, DC, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in other markets vary based on market data.
